Bigger, Better, Less Expensive

Rider Ramps are carefully designed to get the biggest ramp possible from commonly available materials. There are plenty of ramp manufacturers out there. Many of them offer ramps that are only three feet wide. Rider Ramps feature a standard width of four feet--or more.

Ever ride a lumpy skatepark, or a mushy ramp? It seems like a lot of skateboarding terrain is designed by non-skaters, or just poorly planned. With over 50 years experience as a skateboarder, the only ramps I build I ones that I would ride. Rider Ramps are solid, and smooth, with just the right proportions. Sure, you can buy a kit. They will even ship it for free. Then you have to assemble the kit. Rider Ramps come to you ready-to-ride!

The bottom line is the bottom line. Rider Ramps are bigger, better ramps at about only 60% of the price of our competition. More skating, less cost.

I started Rider Ramps so I would have something of my own to ride. I've kept building them to help make skating accessible to more people. Rider Ramps feature sturdy, salvaged wood, so they keep lumber out of landfills, and save you money.

Portable

All of our standard models can be moved by one adult with a hand truck. For a small extra fee, add on caster wheels to make the job even easier. With two adults, you should be able to lift and carry any of our models. Of course, the typical half pipe mini ramp is usually not intended to be mobile. It's fun to have your own ramp that you can move around at home, or even take it with you!

Many tools and materials are sourced at vendors like ReStore/Habitat for Humanity and Portland's Rebuilding Center. Since Rider Ramps focuses on local customers, our carbon footprint is lower, too.
